Welcome to Absolute Gurkha
Absolute Gurkha is a registered Kathmandu based NGO, which was set up by Ashik Amatya (Nepal) and Stuart Leighton (UK) to provide assistance to the regions in Nepal worst hit by the two earthquakes of early 2015. Its mission is to raise funds enabling work to be done in a multitude of areas such as relief distribution, school rebuilding, volunteering programs etc. in order to help the beautiful country of Nepal back on its feet.

Meet Our Team
Providing aid to rural regions most affected by the earthquakes.
Undertaking Community Headivng sessions to rural schools, orphanages and homeless street children.
Rebuilding of temporary schools, allowing children to continue with their education.
Providing stationery to schools where the children are lacking in these basic educational items.
Setting up adventure volunteer tourism to strengthen the overall economic development of Nepal.
Providing adequate sanitation to prevent the outbreak and spread of disease.
Setting up volunteer programmes with overseas schools, in order for students to gain an appreciation of the value of helping others in need.
Providing teacher training to English teachers working in rural areas with the aim to help them pass the Cambridge TKT test.
Visiting overseas primary schools to educate children about the importance of being compassionate, and giving kids the opportunity to think of ways how they themselves can help people in countries hit by natural disasters.
